We were lucky enough to go on one in San Francisco. We were only in town for about a day and a half and really wanted to eat as much as possible
Our tour was of Hayes Valley. We enjoyed ourselves, the group was about 6-7 people large and the guide was full of [...] -

We were signed up with Foodbuzz as well for a while, our contract was for 2-years, the representative was very nice to us and worked with us when we requested to end our contract. I believe the deal was that any money made in the last 90 days would not be paid to us. To [...]

Update – we just tried following the tutorial for Word press users that shows how to access code for Link Within and it worked – instead of on step 2 selecting “Blogger” we selected “Other” and it worked just fine. (If you select “Blogger” you need to log in to Blogger – makes sense ) [...]

@Jaden – we have found Link Within to slow down things a bit, but have not found another plugin/widget to replace it (still looking – we use Wordpress and Thesis if you have any suggestions). We have also noticed that more times than not, Link Within will show the same thumbnails twice, which is not [...]

We have had our blog for just under a year now and have happily seen our statistics grow each month. I have read in a few other forums/articles that becoming a guest blogger can be helpful in expanding your reader base. That makes sense, but how do you know what is a good opportunity or [...]

@Marlene Lightroom 2 is nice and relatively easy to use/get used to. It is not nearly as expensive as Photoshop. Although, I have seen it for $299, but if you can somehow get a student discount then it is more like $100. They also have a free trial on the Adobe website so you can [...]

@stuartdonald, First of all, congratulations on becoming an Executive Chef! Secondly, what you say about culinary school being a “time savor” makes a lot of sense. I think it all has to come down to the individual though… I went to university for Psychology, got my bachelors and just could not commit to another 2-5 years [...]

@Maiya…what a great question! I have asked the exact same question to myself many times… I have always loved cooking and the kitchen, but always viewed it as a hobby so I went to school and finished with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and found myself a desk job… then, just less than one year ago, [...]
